FAQ
  • Are your soaps made with lye?
Yes, as is ALL soaps. In order for butters and oils to go through the saponification phases (turn to soap), the oils and fat must be combined with a lye and liquid solution. There are people who make hand made soaps from, what's called, Melt and Pour. What does that mean? It means, the soap maker is adding their own touch to soap that's already gone through a saponification phase.
  • Are your products 100% natural?
No, not 100%. Many of my artisan soaps use micas and fragrance oils. Though it's more natural than store bought soaps, I still can't claim them to be 100% natural.
  • How do you deal with allergies a customer may have?
All my products have the ingredient list visible. Though these products are all made from skin safe and skin loving ingredients, allergies are still a possibility. Most of the soaps contain coconut oil and is not recommended for those who have an allergy to coconuts.
